Deep Harmonics was set up in 2010 with Hans and Lory, who both share a profound affinity to black music rooted in gospel and blues. As a collector of mainly obscure Funk and Soul music from the late 60ties and early 70ties, Hans intended to re-cover commonly unknown songs, formerly released on small independent labels, within a R&B live-band setup. The feel of Lorys voice could communicate that vintage vibe, along with Hans’ ringing strikes on guitar. The band had gained bite with a solid horn section formed by Rainer, Percy, Phil and Cleff, and the groovy bass is consistently held by Mitch, whereas Dorian is the man on organ back then and now again. From the year of 2021 on, Deep Harmonics came up with the release of some own distinctive tunes.
